Today, the global fashion leader known only as PRADA was originally founded as a leather goods store in Milan, in 1915.
It was a fine leather shop only untill 1978 when Miuccia, the granddaughter to one of the Fratelli Prada brother became heir to the legacy.
As she began to lead the company into couture fashion, she used her fashion genius to create wild and flamboyant designs and this catapulted Prada into the fashion spotlight.
Prada has commissioned architects, like Rem Koolhaas and Herzog & de Meuron to design it's flagship stores in various locations.
The label is synonymous with opulence and quality, and is widely regarded as a status symbol.
